Fall Fashion | The Season’s Trendiest Handbags

Fall is here, well almost, but the weather is sure starting to feel like it.  I recently did a post on Top 10 Fall Fashion trends, and it prompted me to write this post, because no bags were featured.  I know that “accessories” were mentioned, but not specifically the trend for bags.  Bags are a such a huge part of an outfit, how can we leave them out of the mix?!

So, here’s my run down on some of Fall’s most trendiest bags:

 10 Fall Fashion Trends

I love fashion, and I’ll be having the baby just in time to slip back into some Fall fashion!  I’ve been paying close attention to the upcoming trends, seeing what the celebrities are wearing, what’s in stores, and what I see on people when I’m out and about.  A lot of the trends are super transition pieces, or you can literally where them all year long.  I love this because, I recently did a clothing haul and I think, with the except of the harem pants and a few others on the list, I didn’t do half bad!  Plus, with baby coming the shopping shifts from me to baby…for pretty much the rest of eternity, or until baby (and subsequent child, God-willing we have more) get 18 or actually that’s 22 with college and all.
As I digress, here’s my list of the top 10 Fall fashion trends: Continue reading

Fall Haul ~ Old Navy, Charlotte Russe, Bath & Body Works…and a Baby Buy!

FallHaul
I did some shopping…okay it was an all out haul over the Labor Day weekend.  I hadn’t been shopping my entire pregnancy, and pretty much in an entire year.  It felt really nice to finally get some things just for me (and well a few things for baby too).  When I shop I usually just do the weekly grocery and household shopping.  Even if I go somewhere like Bath & Body Works, I rarely shop for myself there anymore.  I typically just get soaps or home fragrance or bodycare for my husband, since he like the Men’s shower gels and body sprays.

I wear a uniform to work everyday, so I don’t have a huge need for lot’s of outfits…right now.  When baby comes, I’ll be out in the civilian world a lot more than I am now and I needed some new threads to wear.  I’m so excited about everything I got, because its not only great transition clothes from pregnancy to non-pregnancy, but I can wear them throughout all 4 seasons.

I definitely got my money’s worth, getting 45% off everything I bought at Old Navy.  I also saved at Bath & Body Works, using a $10/30 purchase coupon for my bodycare and a free item coupon with my soaps to get the body splash for free.  And I can’t forget the 10% military discount I received on my purchase at Charlotte Russe.  If anyone knows me, they know I never pay full price for anything retail.  I been shopping for a long time, and if its one thing I know how to do well, its shopping.

Okay, now on to the haul.  Check my video below to see all the goodies that I got:

Freebie Friday | Happy Halloween Printable

Happy Halloween Printables > Free from NewMamaDiaries.blogspot.com
Its Freebie Friday again!  Fitting with the impending Fall that is coming upon us, I’ve created these fun Happy Halloween printables.  You can use these to add to goodie bags, décor for party planning, or even affix to objects to make more festive.

They are roughly 2”x3”, so you can easy find 2”x4” shipping labels in your local office supply store or on Amazon.com .
You could also laminate the labels and use a double stick tape to affix the printables to whatever object you are using.  I strongly recommend laminating, because it will ensure durability.  It will also allow you to switch out the printables to put on other objects or to use again in the future if you plan on saving them.Happy Halloween Printables > Free from NewMamaDiaries.blogspot.com
Download the file . – Please take note that these are for personal use only!  I would never charge for these, so please don’t take them and try to use them for commercial use.  This is why they are FREE for use. :-)
I’d love to know how you would use these printables!  Also, are you ready for Fall?  I am, because that means that baby will be here and that the holidays are right around the corner.
xxoo,

Fall TV, what’s returning, what’s new

Fall TV, what’s returning, what’s new.

The Walking Dead – Returns to AMC October 31 @ 9 P.M. This is the 4th season of the series and its debuting just in time for Halloween. Previous seasons are available Netflix if you want to catch or just refresh yourself. It’ll be more ghouly, milky-eyed, predatoral zombies on your tv to last you all Fall.

Homeland – Returns to Showtime September 29 @ 9 P.M.  This will be season 3 of the show.  Check Netflix or OnDemand through your cable or satellite service to see if previous seasons are available. – Unfortunately I do not have Showtime and have never seen the show, but I here it’s a big hit.

The Big Bang Theory – Returns September 26 @ 8 P.M. to CBS.  The show will premiere its 7th season this Fall, but if you need to catch re-runs play all the time and they should be on Netflix and OnDemand as well.

Boardwalk Empire – Returns to HBO for Season 4 of the series at 9 P.M. on September 4.  Just as True Blood leaves us for the Fall, this show keeps with HBO’s trend of gritty drama.

The Good Wife – Season 5 of the show returns to CBS September 29 @ 9 P.M.  I have actually only seen re-runs of this show and bits and pieces of it here and there, so I can’t give too much inside scoop on the show.  I do know, however, that it is an award-nominated show and that the fact that it is, gives good reason for it to now be in its 5th season.

The Neighbors – This primetime comedy returns to ABC September 20 at 8:30 P.M.  I remember this show premiering last season, and tried to give it a shot, but based on the premise I couldn’t really get into it.  Maybe it will make more sense this season??

Nashville – Everyone’s favorite country drama.  I remember catching it bits and pieces of it after my usual Wednesday night programming and it wasn’t half bad.  I’m not surprised at all to see if back for a second season.  It premieres on ABC September 25 @ 10 P.M.

The Vampire Diaries – One of my absolute faves!  Returns to CWtv October 10 @ 8 P.M. for season 5.  I’m not even gonna get into it, but let’s just say I’m excited about it!  I’m even more excited to see what the spin-off The Originals brings to the franchise.

New Girl – Now in Season 3, premieres September 17 @ 9 P.M. on FOX

Modern Family – Another one of my faves for Wednesday night tv.  The 5th season premieres on ABC, September 25 @ 9 P.M.  Can’t wait for the laughs and unconventional, awkward humor.
How I Meant Your Mother – It seems like this show is always on.  Literally, all the time and on every channel.  Nonetheless, the new and final season premieres September 23 @ 8 P.M. on CBS.

Revenge – There’s so much good tv on Sunday nights that its hard to get around to watching everything.  I unfortunately have not caught much of Revenge, but what I have seen of it, has been good.  Season 3 premieres September 29 @ 9 P.M.

SCANDAL! – Need to say more!  That’s all!  Season 3 premieres October 3 @ 10 P.M. – Stoked, can’t wait, October hurry up (for baby and Scandal)!

Honorable mentions:  Park & Recreation, Community, Girls, House of Cards – all TBD, but will return to the airwaves this fall.
What will you be watching this Fall?  How do you feel about the upcoming Fall tv season?
I’d love to hear your thoughts!
