I’m a 20-something God-fearing soon-to-be mom and wife with a wonderful husband. We live in Virginia now, but are true southerners from Georgia.
I’m from Stone Mountain, he’s from Augusta. We both have served our country in the United States Marine Corps, but are now delving into new endeavors throughout all areas of our lives. You can read about why I join the Marine Corps here.
We are two peas in a pod, in the cheesiest, but sweetest way. I’m the spitfire and he’s the cool cucumber. Don’t let the scowl on his face in the picture above fool you, he’s the most loving guy I know.
Now we are expecting a little one of our own, who will soon make his or her appearance into the world. We are excited, stoked, and can’t wait! Its been such a surreal experience waiting 10 months, yes 10 months for this little one! I can’t wait to share my experience of becoming a mother. Its the one thing I’ve always wanted. I thank God each and everyday for the blessing he has bestowed upon me to become a mother. Its a privilege, an honor, true favor and blessing.
I love to eat, bake, travel, and spend time with family, among many other things. You will see in my chronicles here on my blog that I’m well-rounded and like a little bit of everything, even though I can be a little picky. That might be the fact that I’m the youngest of two old brothers and only girl. I have a tomboyish edge to me, but I’m also totally traditional and girly.
I like to dabble in all things creative, whether it be baking, crafts, or writing. Creating is what I love and its what I do.
xxoo,
“Creating is what I love to do” – you seem to be creating an awesome little person! Good job.
Also, your husband looks a lot like my cousins in England. I was so confused for a moment. You’re a very good looking family.
I’m excited to watch more of your adventures.

Thanks so much for the lovely compliment! I’m trying to finish “creating” this little person, he or she will be here before I know it. I told my husband that and he had a good laugh. We both get told we always look like someone’s cousin or friend or whomever. Maybe we just have familiar faces. Thanks again for visiting and following!
